Julie Launey from Tyler, TX has been selected to participate in the USA Mission Experience to the Finger Lakes Region of New York on July 12-22, 2019. Julie has been active in PW, local church activities, and the community through her membership in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Beaumont (New Covenant Presbytery), University Presbyterian Church in Baton Rouge (South Louisiana Presbytery), and now First Presbyterian Church in Tyler, TX (Grace Presbytery).
She has been a PW circle leader, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher, deacon, Stephen Minister, South Louisiana PW secretary, along with many community activities. She attended Churchwide PW Gatherings in Orlando and this year in Louisville. She was part of the group from University Presbyterian Church (Baton Rouge)’s 2016 trip to rural Cuba to visit the Living Water for the World’s water purification system at the San Jose de los Ramos church.
