Mission Projects will be assembled at the Gathering so please bring the following items, either individually or from your PW circle.
Emergency Infant Services is a non-profit organization providing help for children 5 years and under in the Tulsa area, assisting over 18,000 infants and toddlers each year. (https://www.eistulsa.org/ )
- Layette supplies (one of each for each bag): sleeper and onesie (newborn for preemie layettes and 0-3 mo. for newborn layettes), pair of booties, fleece blanket, receiving blanket, baby wash, bottle, bulb syringe, pacifier, thermometer, and new reusable shopping bag to put supplies in.
- Art kit: drawing paper, construction paper, markers, coloring and activity books, glue stick, and stickers.
Inverness Village is a non-profit retirement community with a Memory Support Unit in Tulsa. (https://www.invernessvillage.com/health-services/memory-support/)
Fidget mats and aprons for Alzheimer’s patients: Goal is to make 12 mats or aprons for the Memory Support unit at Inverness Village in Tulsa; extra mats/aprons may be taken home by Gathering participants for patients in their communities. Fabric placemats; scraps of fabric, cuffs to button and unbutton, ribbon, lace, buttons, knitted flowers or other knitted objects, men’s ties, bows, zippers, shoelaces and other tactical odds and ends that can be hand-sewn or glued to the mats/aprons.
